Summer Fun

Summer Fun is an 8 week long program (with a one week break between) hosted by the City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department for kids ages 7-14 (they can be 6 if they have completed the first grade). The SMCISD school site for 2019 is Goodnight Middle School. Camp runs from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Breakfast and lunch are provided by SMCISD and one field trip a week is included in camp fees. Field trips are to the Rio Vista Pool, Starplex Movie Theatre, and Sunset Bowling Lanes.

Registration/Fees

  • Registration for residents is $32/week and begins on April 1.
  • Registration for non-residents is $50/week and begins on April 22.

  • Week One: June 10 - 14
  • Week Two: June 17-21
  • Week Three: June 24-28
  • Week Four: July 1-5 (no camp on July 4)

Session Two for 2019

  • Week Five: July 15-19
  • Week Six: July 22-26
  • Week Seven: July 29- August 2
  • Week Eight: August 5 - 9
