You(th) Can Do It! Pageant

The You(th) Can Do It! Pageant is for children with disabilities between the ages of 5 - 17. The pageant has been combined with the Miss Beautiful SMTX Pageant at the San Marcos Activity Center. 

The public is welcome to come join the fun and support the contestants in their journey. Prizes will be awarded for Queen/King and First, Second, and Third Runner Up in the following categories: Little Miss Beautiful SMTX, Jr. Miss Beautiful SMTX, Little Mr. San Marvelous, and Jr. Mr. San Marvelous. Sustainability Fair and Native Plant Sale

The San Marcos Discovery Center is having its very first Sustainability Fair on April 6! Come see the different organizations contributing to the sustainability of this area and how you can get involved. In addition, there will be a mini-series of workshops happening throughout the day as well as our celebrated Spring Native Plant Sale. We will start selling at 9 am- 4 pm. Farmer Fred's Garden Spring Carnival

Farmer Fred invites all of his friends out to Plaza Park and City Park for his annual Carnival the Thursday before Easter. This event features a free age-grouped egg hunt, carnival games, prizes & candy, and much more! Check our calendar for more information!

Mother & Son Bowling Night

This event takes place the Friday before Mother's Day at Sunset Bowling Lanes in San Marcos. Mothers/Mother figures and Sons are invited for an evening of bowling and fun! There is a cost associated with this event and pre-registration is required! Visit our calendar for more information.

Party in Your Park

This event takes place every three months and travels to various neighborhood parks each time. Party in Your Park features free family-friendly fun: yard games, music, refreshments and much more!
