All reports filed online will be reviewed in the order they are received. Response time to online reports can take as long as two weeks. Online reports are not monitored 24/7, and the public is urged to call 9-1-1 for emergencies.
The following types of incidents MAY be reported online at this time:
Supplements- Additional information to an existing case
Burglary from Motor Vehicles
Damaged Property- Vehicle (does not include damage from hit and run or vehicle accidents)
Theft of Service
The following can NOT be reported online:
Lost or Stolen firearms, prescriptions, or license plates
Burglary of Habitation
Catalytic Converter Theft
Credit / Debit Card Abuse
If you need to file a catalytic converter theft report, please call the non-emergency police number at 512-753-2108 instead of filing a report online.
Evidence When filing the online report, "evidence" means blood splatter, weapons, or identifiable items left behind by a suspect. Photos that pertain to your incident are not evidence, but you can submit those at a later time in the online report.
