The City of San Marcos, with assistance from the Veterans Affairs Advisory Committee and local veteran organizations, will conclude their month of service opportunities with “Donate to the Hays County Food Bank” and the Veterans Food Assistance Distribution program.
Hays County Food Bank, VFW Post #3413, and Hays County Veterans Service Office, will host a Veterans Food Assistance Distribution on Dec. 19. The public is encouraged to donate to Hays County Food Bank from Nov. 22 through Nov. 30.
Veterans must sign up prior to attending the food distribution. A list of qualified foods to donate and donation instructions can be found on the Hays County Food Bank website. Food items can also be ordered through Amazon for delivery to the Food Bank. Monetary donations can be made online through the Hays County Food Bank donation webpage or by mailing them a check.
