[ARCHIVED] San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter ‘Pets of the Week’

Cat of the Week: Titan

Titan is always the life of the party. This 6-month-old kitten has a ton of playful energy and loves to zoom around the room at top speed. After tiring himself out with his toys, he enjoys cuddles and pets. But soon after, it’s back to playtime! Titan gets along with other playful cats, and loves all people he meets, so he would easily fit into any fun-loving family.

Dog of the Week: Yuma

Yuma is a sweet, calm, well-behaved girl who is looking for a permanent best friend to cuddle. This 3-year-old German shepherd just wants to be close to you and will often snuggle up for affection. She’s great on a leash and has great potty-training experience. Yuma is heartworm positive, which means she will need a little extra time and attention while she undergoes treatment. Yuma would make a great fit for any calm and relaxed household.

The San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter is hosting their $1 Adoption Special for the entire month of October. All dogs and cats are adoptable for only $1. All adoptions include the pet’s spay or neuter, kennel vaccinations, rabies vaccination, microchip and city license. For more information, visit www.sanmarcostx.gov/animaladoptions or contact Animal Services at 512.805.2650.
