Details

The Gary Sorts Complex consists of eight fields located adjacent to the entrance to Gary Job Corps. The adult complex consists of four fields with skinned infields and 300' fences. The adult four-plex is currently used to host adult leagues on week nights from March through December. The complex is also available for weekend rentals and practices. The youth four-plex consists of four fields with skinned infields and 225' fences. The complex hosts youth leagues in the Spring, Summer, and Fall and is available for weekend tournament rentals.   

Insurance 

The City softball program is affiliated with USA Softball of Texas. We recommend that all tournament rentals also be sanctioned by USA Softball, but it is not mandatory. However, if the event is affiliated with another organization, it must be insured equivalent to insurance obtained through USA Softball and must list the City of San Marcos as additionally insured. 

Rental Lottery 

A rental lottery is held the second Saturday in December for all tournaments the following year. A $500 down payment per event must be presented the day of the lottery. 

Rental Fees:

Practice 

• Adults - $26 per hour
• Lights: $19 per hour
• Youth - $20 per hour 

Tournaments:

• Reservation Down Payment: $500
• Lights: $19 per hour/per field
• Non-Residents: $196 per field/per day
• Residents: $99 per field/per day
• Supervisor Fee: $20 per hour
