Our free fixed-route services offer a convenient and reliable way to travel within San Marcos. These routes operate from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Please note that the service often doesn't run on federal holidays. Please check our bus route information section for more info.
Our free complimentary Paratransit service is available for those requiring specialized transportation services. Use this service to schedule a ride from where you are to where you need to go in the service area, which is the city limits of San Marcos. No fares are required for this service, making it accessible and affordable for everyone. Anyone with a qualifying medical condition or disability is eligible. Need to commute to Austin? Tired of traffic? We've got you covered. Our low-cost interurban service connects you to South Park Meadows, Central Downtown Austin, and east Austin, starting at 6:45 AM and operating until 9:40 PM, Monday through Friday. The Bobcat Shuttle provides free rides to both students and the general public. To ride the shuttle, simply board the bus at any of its designated stops, just as you would with San Marcos Transit's Fixed Route service.
