Crimes Against Persons

Crimes against persons are defined as those whose victims are always individuals. Homicide, sexual assault, robbery and assault are examples. Crimes against children, elderly and disabled fall under crimes against persons. A detective follows up on all reports of child abuse that are received via the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS).
