About the Project

This project will rehabilitate the Hills of Hays lift station located off Staples Road. The lift station was originally built in the 1980’s and is in need of rehabilitation to extend its service life and improve access and security.

Improvements include:

• Protective coating of the lift station wet well.
• Coating of lift station piping.
• Replacement of pump guide rail system.
• Replaced valves
• New cantilever access gate
• Concrete surfacing around within lift station compound
• Replacement of existing fencing around compound

• The project has been designed and bid for construction. Construction was awarded in August 2020 with an expected duration of four months pending weather
