Congratulations to Julia Cleary on APA Certification!

The Planning and Development Services Department is pleased to announce that Planner, Julia Cleary, has obtained her American Institute of Certified Planners Certification from the American Planning Association (APA). Certification is obtained through passage of the APA exam, a comprehensive test over expertise in the field of planning. In order to retain certification, planners are required to complete annual continuing education and professional development.

Julia joins her colleagues, Shannon Mattingly, Tory Carpenter, Amanda Hernandez, Andrea Villalobos, and Will Rugeley as Certified Planners. The American Institute of Certified Planners is APA's professional institute and provides the only nationwide, independent verification of planners' qualifications. Certified planners pledge to uphold high standards of practice, ethics, and professional conduct, and to keep their skills sharp by continuously pursuing advanced professional education. Congratulations, Julia!
