Roya Williamson

Victim Services Coordinator, Roya Williamson started with the San Marcos Police Department in June 2007. She serves on the Board of The Friends of the Family Justice Center, the Village of San Marcos and the Hays Caldwell Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse. She is a member of the Hays County Sexual Assault Response Team (SART), the Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT), the Multi Disciplinary Team (MDT), the SMPD/HCSO Crisis Negotiation Team and is the Co-Coordinator for the Hays County Regional Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Team. Prior to her employment with the Police Department, she served the San Marcos and Hays County community as the Assistant Director of the Hays Caldwell Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse.

Education & Experience

Roya Williamson holds a masters degree in psychology and is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with over 29 years experience in the mental health field.
